Social

University isn't just about going to lectures and passing exams! I know we'd all love to just sit in our rooms to fill the time between each important assessment and the next lesson, but there's more to life than that!

The Social side of MedSoc is here to help! Our Social Secretaries spend hours each week dreaming up new events and nights out for all our members to take part in. Remember, by going on MedSoc events, you get better deals and already have a group to go with.

This year, we've made a distinction so that the Social Secs organise night time activities such as club nights, parties and balls, while activities secs organise daytime trips and activities! So really, when you think social, think all of the above!

UPCOMING EVENTS

So without further ado, here are the people who will lead you to greatness this year!

Social Officer - Katie Hopkins

Katie will be your female Social Secretary for the upcoming year. Katie loves to party and will always be the first to the bar on a night out, normally cos she's trying it on with the barman!

Her other interests include playing netball and chasing after rugby boys on a wednesday night in Timepiece. Jokes aside, Katie is a great girl and an incredible social sec. She is really keen to meet you all and show you a great time in Exeter!

Both Katie and I really want to get some input from you guys for "fresh" ideas for next year. We have both had an amazing first year, and we hope we can make yours just as fantastic! - By C. Greet

Social Officer - Charlie

Greet"Baaaaaaaaabbbeeeeeeessssss!" You are guaranteed to hear the mating call of Charlie Greet in your Freshers Fortnight!

MedSoc's very own semi-Chinese/English "Sir Bolt-a-lot" is definately the life and soul of the party... until he passes out somewhere in the croft (not necessarily his own room). Among his many talents, he is an avid hockey player, even if it is only to gaid LAD status in timepiece after the game!

Whether it is 20 seconds or 4 hours, Charlie Greet is sure to give you a good time! - By K. Hopkins
