President - Duncan Paterson

Hello!!  I'm Duncan and the new MedSoc president for Exeter. My main priority is to make sure MedSoc gets behind and supports anything that makes your lives as med students easier and life at uni as enjoyable as possible, and that is precisely what I plan to do! I'm keen to meet anyone new, especially if they have ideas for MedSoc! So if you see me out and about somewhere, come and say hello. We've got a fantastic committee and some great ideas for the year ahead, so get behind us and get involved!!

Vice-President - Jonathan Rupert Franklin-Smith

Hi there, I'm Rupert and I'll be vice fr the coming year. Not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing, but I think it involves carrying out risk assessments so you can get 'bungalowed' safely, organising hoodies for early next year and of course, confronting the global threat that is Manbearpig. I don't think my social agenda will be influenced greatly by these jobs though, so rest assured, I will still spend my free time getting wrecked and practising magic!

MedSoc Secretary - Rohini Kulkarni

Hi I'm Rohini (a.k.a Roh) and I'm the secretary for this year's MedSoc. My role involves taking care of the committee's organisation and administration - it's all in a hard day's work of minutes! I'm happy to offer help when it's needed and want to support MedSoc in making this year an awesome one!

Treasurer - Hannah Bowell

Hi! I'm Hannah and this year's treasurer, aka the miserable miser who likes to sit in a dark corner number crunching on a CASIO calculator, and tallying up all your money! Feel free to send any membership money my way - and enjoy a really great year with MedSoc!

Social Officer - Kirsteen Houston

Hi guys!! We aare your social secretaries for the coming year. All we need from you is to be enthusiastic with events that we put on, and give your support to make them as good as possible!

Social Officer - Henry Daniels

So, If you've got any ideas for socials, send them our way (preferably not
at the bar on a night out, however) and we'll get them in the pipeline!

Activities Officer - Jodie Nadine Sage

Let me introduce Luke and I 'The activities officers'. We are here to get things happening at Peninsula. Our aims for the year are not only to welcomethe fresh - our priority - but also to get as many new clubs and societies up and running, as possible. Attempting to aceive NAMS status for as many sports teams as possible, as well as arranging any activity you can think up. Within the few weeks since taking over, we've run tennis tournaments, and rock climbingafternoons, hockey tournaments and open mic nights, and beleive me we have much more to come.

Activities Officer - Luke Edwards

We're enthusiastic and active, probably a good thing considering we are activities officers, hence we'd love to hearany ideas any students have as we're probably as keen for it as you are. Together we hold pretty much every hobby going, from knitting and sewing to surfing and travelling so if thereare enough people with that hobby, we'd love to get a society going.

We aim to get the years integrating and the different locations mixing, along with plenty of banter!!

Getting students together, and doing more is our aim, as we're not just here to study medicine.

Charity Officer - Charlotte Curson

Whether it's the naked calendar or one of our charity nights that takes your fancy, we want you to get involved! If you have any ideas or suggestions for charities, let us know and help us to raise lots and lots of money for these good causes!

Publicity Officer - Stephie Williams

Hey guys, I'm Steph, the new publicity officer for the upcoming year! I will be the one to let you know what's going on, when and where. I will be found in a corner with my crayola colouring crayons busy designing the new colourful and eye-catching posters for the exciting eventsthat will be cropping up this year. It is already set to be an awesome year... So look out for my pretty pictures!

Education Officer - Emily Adams

Hi I'm Emily and I have the role of education officer on the Exeter MedSoc committee. I've been organising the parenting system for the next year's freshers so that they will have 'mummies and daddies' to help them out. Next term I will also be organising some revision sessions with tutors for the first and second years to help with the AMK... I hope you'll all get involved!
