Somerfield

Open Till: 9pm weekdays, 4pm sundays
Located in heavitree and with extra sites nearby in town (near the odeon in fact so perfect for your pre-cinema snacks), this is primarily used by crofties! Just 4 minutes walk down the road, they provide a good range of food and drink and you can pick up a 5% off discount card in town which makes it even more attractive.

This place might look quite like a budget warehouse drop off point, but what they lack in style, they make up for in prices. Situated on blackboy road (at the end of fore street in Mount Pleasant), its a little walk away but they have great deals on cases of beer and cider and bottles of spirit. It's not big but it has a good selection and always worth a look as you can find some pretty special deals!

Cost Cutters

Open Till: 10pm everyday (inc. sundays)
Located on fore street, just round the corner from rowancroft, this shop has an ok selection of food an drink. It tends to be better for one-off deals and snacks rather than doing your proper shop there. Worth a look for drink deals plus they have awesome baguettes made in store and open till 10pm every day of the week!

Tesco Mini

Open Till: 11pm every day
There is a petrol station with a tesco mini attached in heavitree (just down from somerfield). Has quite a good range of fresh foods and drinks considering its a garage, plus its at tesco prices so worth a look. Main advantage is its open till 11pm every day! 

If you have a car: Big Tesco + Sainsburys

Open: 24 hours
If you have a car, brilliant! There's a big 24 hour tesco and sainsburys situated on the edge of town towards the M5. Only about 5-8 minutes drive away and obviously the ideal place to shop if you have that option as you get the cheaper prices, bigger range and better deals.
