Gym & Recreation
So you want to do something other than study and party? Good, so do we! That's why there's a bunch of places where you can go and be active. This is on top of joining sports teams that you will have plenty of opportunities to do, and the random ball games that will start out in the grass area of mews!
St. Lukes Gym

Situated on St. Lukes campus only 5 minutes away, if you're looking to join a gym, it will probably be this one. It's not the most overstocked gyms in the world but it has a pool, a good free weights area and a selection of running machines, cross trainers, rowers and cycle machines. You'll find a lot of the rugby boys training down there too! Prices are around £35 and £2-3 each time you go, or a years membership will cost £190 (or £240 including the pool). This also gives you access to the streatham campus gym but this is 30 minutes walk away so less practical.
Heavitree Park

A ridiculously good park in my opinion, situated in heavitree just down the road from somerfield, it has a beautiful full Basketball court, 6 outside hard-court tennis courts, a skate park and a BMX park, not to mention acres of space for ball games. A great place to chill for an afternoon with a B-ball, a frisbee and whatever else you have!
Full University Pitches

Duckes
The university pitches, but also a large area down by the river 20 minutes walk away. A good place to mess around, or to book to have training for team sports. If you join the football/rugby team, you'll get to know this place well
Streatham: Rubber Crumb
Silly name, great pitches. All the hockey and synthetic pitches are all up at the top of Cardiac hill on streatham campus so if you join a team, you'll get to know these places well also.
