Activities
Your Activities Officers are here to provide a diverse range of things to do, ranging from sport and music to day trips and experiences. They work closely with social secs to give you more things to do than you can shake a stethoscope at!
One of the key areas of responsibility are the Peninsula Sports teams. All the MedSocs work together to provide support to all the sports that you guys wish to play. We'll help with fundraising and affiliation and get you off the ground with equipment. Check out the sports pages on the site so see what we offer, but if you don't find what you like, get some people together, start a team and get some matches to play for your Med School!
On the flipside, we are here to facilitate music and drama events as we have contacts all around Exeter University so just get in touch an we'll see what we can do. And we're not even done yet, cos we also put on day trips to the beach and open mic nights and paintballing days... So you non-drinkers out there are probably gonna love these guys.
So the next step is to introduce you to the guys who can make all your dreams come true! Meet the team below...

Activities Officer - Laurie Smith
If you like your meat with two veg, then you'll love Laurie, Peninsula's very own Cornish pastie! Once you get past his golden, rather buttery exterior, a warm an slightly salty meat-and-veg combo awaits you! Mr Smith's varied interests, from surfing to admiring fellow students nipple hair, have been known to get him into mischief in the past. However, this chappy can always be found somewhere on a night out, crimson-faced and full of Cornish goodness! - By I. Swart-Wilson |

Activities Officer - Imogen Swart-Wilson Well, what can I say about Immie? This girl can talk for England, so watch out in Freshers week because once she gets started, there's no stopping her! In all seriousness, she's a bubbly, energetic person who is great fun to be around and i'm really looking forward to working with her over the next year! I'm sure that under her guidance, the pair of us will help make this coming year unforgettable! - By L. Smith |
